- 1 cup Honey
- 1 tablespoon Chili Flakes
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 3 whole Dried Chilies optional
- 1 teaspoon Chili Powder optional, for extra heat
- 5 cloves Garlic grated (optional, affects storage time)
Sterilize Your Jar: Wash a glass jar with hot soapy water and dry completely.
Prepare Ingredients: If using garlic, grate it finely. Measure out chili flakes, lemon juice, and any additional spices.
Combine Ingredients: Add honey, chili flakes, lemon juice, and any additional spices into the jar. Stir well to mix evenly.
Infuse (Optional): Seal the jar and let it sit at room temperature for 4-5 days, stirring daily for the best flavor blend.
Store & Use: Keep in an airtight container. If using garlic, refrigerate and use within 2 weeks. Without garlic, store in a cool, dark place for up to 3 months. If the honey crystallizes, warm it slightly before use.
